When you first explore AllSpins casino, you’ll notice it offers a range of free play games designed to let you test your skills without risking real money. The casino’s free play section is built around high Return to Player (RTP) rates—some games return up to 96.5%—meaning every spin or bet has a strong chance of rewarding you. This is especially useful if you’re new to slots or just want to sharpen your strategy before committing funds.

One of the standout features is the free spins promotions, which often come with multipliers and bonus rounds. For example, during the latest promotion, players earned 100 free spins on the ‘Luckiest Stars’ slot, each with a 95.7% RTP and a 2x multiplier on top hits. The twist is that these spins are tied to a wagering requirement—you’ll need to place real money bets equal to the value of your free spins before claiming any winnings. That means if you hit a jackpot worth $50, you’d need to deposit $50 in total before seeing that prize.

The casino also runs wagering races, where players compete for prizes based on how quickly they meet a set wagering threshold. In one recent race, participants had 24 hours to bet their free play credits at least 10x their initial deposit amount. The top three finishers earned $300, $200, and $100 in real-money bonuses, respectively. These races aren’t just about luck—they test discipline, as players must track their bets carefully to stay in contention.

For those who prefer live action over digital games, AllSpins offers free play live dealer tables, including blackjack and roulette. Each table has a set RTP of around 98%, meaning the house edge is minimal compared to traditional casinos. You can use these tables for practice sessions or even join mini-tournaments where you stake your free play credits against others. One tournament I tested had a $50 entry fee in free credits and payouts based on position—first place got $150, second $75, and third $50.

The casino’s leaderboards are another great way to engage with free play. You can track your progress across different games or tournaments, seeing how your performance stacks up against other players. During a recent slot tournament, the top scorer earned 247 points from 12 spins on ‘Dragon Race’, while the average player scored around 120 points over the same period. This kind of competition keeps things exciting and helps refine your strategy.

Free play deposits are another key detail—you can usually deposit real money into your account just to unlock more free credits. For instance, depositing NZD $25 grants you an extra 50 free spins on ‘Jewel Quest’, which has an RTP of 96.3%. This means every time you deposit, you get an immediate boost in gameplay without risking anything.

The payout times for real-money wins depend on the game type and platform used. Slots typically process payouts within 48 hours, while live dealer games may take up to 72 hours. If you’re using AllSpins’ mobile app, withdrawals usually clear within 3-5 business days. It’s worth noting that all recreational winnings are tax-free under New Zealand law.

AllSpins also hosts regular tournaments with prize pools that can be substantial for free play participants. In one recent event, the main prize was NZD $1,500, split among top performers based on their final score. The tournament required players to complete at least 30 spins across three different slots before claiming their winnings.

Responsible gambling is always important when exploring new platforms like AllSpins Casino. Since no operator holds a DIA-licence as of 2026, it’s crucial to remember this site operates offshore under foreign regulators like MGA or Curacao. Always set limits for yourself—whether it’s time spent playing or maximum bets—to ensure you enjoy these features safely.

If you’re just starting out with AllSpins Casino’s free play options, my own experience showed that focusing on high-RTP slots like ‘Luckiest Stars’ gave me the best results without overcomplicating things. The wagering races were also fun once I figured out how to track my bets efficiently over the 24-hour window.

Ultimately, AllSpins Casino’s free play section is designed to let you experiment without risk—whether it’s testing new strategies or competing in tournaments with real stakes in credits. Just remember that while these features are great for practice, they don’t replace responsible gambling habits when playing with real money later on.
